- MIT Food and Agriculture Collaborative Fall Speaker Series
- Sponsored by MITFAC, SEID, MIT Energy Initiative, South Asia Club
- There are hundreds of thousands of milk-producing villages that dairy processors
cannot collect milk from in Pakistan and India because of the remote areas with
unreliable electricity to keep the milk cold-stored. Promethean Power has developed
a hybrid solar-powered industrial milk chiller that has been 100% designed to resolve
this specific milk collection problem. We will have the co-founders of Promethean Power
as well as Kishore Musale, chairman of Astarc Group to speak about the opportunity to
design appropriate technologies to resolve agriculture issues in the future.
