- Bilal Zuberi will talk about his career path since finishing his PhD in  
   Physical Chemistry at MIT.
- Bilal focuses on investments in companies with deep technology focus, 
   especially clean energy

- PDS is a set of talks and informal discussions with professionals from diverse
   industrial background.

 student may buy one guest ticket. Guest tickets also cost $2 and
 must be purchased with the student's ticket.  There is no physical
 ticket; there will be a guest list at the event and you will check in there.
- Dinner tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The name on
 each ticket must be the name of the person using the ticket. Tickets are
 non-transferable.  There will be no refunds if you cancel and/or do
not show up.
- Your children are welcome and can come in for free.

   about how you can get involved in organizing the premier student run energy 
   conference in the world!

- Join the MIT Science Policy Initiative for lunch with Professor Richard Lester,
   Head of Nuclear Science and Engineering and founder of the Industrial
   Performance Center.  Prof. Lester will talk about the role of policy in
   technology innovation, followed by lunch and open discussion.  Space is limited

- This group sends pairs of women students across the country at no cost.
- These students present to middle and high school girls for a week during IAP.
- They educate and encourage excitement about science and engineering.

7 Who:		Students, spouses, faculty, staff, alumni, departments, existing
			student groups, and new coalitions- Anyone with an idea!

- Grants provide funding for graduate student life initiatives, anything that builds 
   community with the graduate student population. This can be a single event, 
   an ongoing series, a tool to build community - be creative.
- Previous successful grants include Weekly Wednesdays at the Muddy Charles,
  Greek Cooking Class, Science Policy Bootcamp, the FamilyNet website and 
   "An Evening with Tom Chapin"
- Funding is for one year, with a possibility of renewal.
- Sponsored by the Office of the Dean of Graduate Education.
