   at the airport to leading a hike in the White Mountains

-  Volunteers get to share in the experience of their individual events and welcome new 
   graduate students to life at MIT. They are also honored at an appreciation dinner in 
   October and will receive a special edition t-shirt featuring the 2010 beaver-seal logo 
   to wear during orientation and beyond.

2 What:     GSC Athletic and Performance Activities Grants - Fall 2010 
2 When:     DEADLINE TOMORROW (August 19)

- Supports graduate students who pursue a non-research/non-academic 
  activity at competitive levels. 
- The grant is designed to support MIT graduate students who take part in 
  competitions/concerts/events throughout the year.
- The grant can cover fees and expenses such as registration,
  accommodation, travel (air, car rental, gas, tolls, parking, public
  transportation) and equipment shipment if needed. 
- PLEASE NOTE:  Members of a team travelling to the same activities MUST 
  have the same budget.
