- 'Academia, Industry, or Both' is a panel discussion about the  
advantages and disadvantages of academic jobs, versus careers in  
industry, and the ability to work in both fields.
- The panel is made up of scientists and engineers who each have  
extensive experience both in academia and in industry
- Sponsored by: The MIT Career Development Center, the Postdoc  
Advisory Council, and the Graduate Student Council

- The Office of the Dean for Graduate Education has eight openings for  
Graduate Community Fellows for the 2010-11 academic year.
- Graduate Community Fellows are a cadre of graduate students who work  
on projects and assignments that enhance MIT graduate community in  
unique ways.
- Fellows receive partial stipend support for the length of their  
appointment period.  Interviews take place in August.  See our web
