MIT has a number of committees, known collectively as Institute
Committees, that determine MIT's administrative policies on a number of
important topics. They are a relatively small time commitment, but
their impact
is large. Every year, the GSC nominates grad students to sit on these
committees; in order to be nominated, students must apply through the
GSC.

The open positions for Institute Committees have now been finalized and
can be viewed at http://gsc.mit.edu/index.php/committees/nom/144.
Descriptions of the committees, the procedures for applying, and the
application form can be found there also.

The application deadline is June 4th, 2010.
