*GSC Ski Trip; Jan 22-25*

The graduate student annual trip to Sunday River, cosponsored by
Snowriders and the Graduate Student Council is back again for
January 2009! The trip will be Jan 22-25.  Enjoy slopeside condos,
free group lessons, 3 days of skiing, and plenty of social activities
all for $250.  See http://gsc.mit.edu/index.php/prog-init/ski-trip

Tickets will go on sale Wed, Dec 3 at 12pm.  The spots usually sell
out VERY FAST, within the first 24 hours.  All graduate students
and postdocs are welcome with up to 1 guest per student/post-doc.

Join your fellow graduate students/postdocs while watching the
timeless Christmas classic, The Nutcracker, at the Boston Opera House.
We'll be going to the December 11th showing at 7:30 PM.

Tickets are on sale through Wednesday, November 26th,
1:00-5:00 PM in the GSC office (room 50-220).

Tickets are $23 for MIT grad students and post-docs
and $25 for guests (limit one guest per student/postdoc).

What: The Nutcracker (subsidized tickets on sale)
