*Kauffman Innovation Seminar*

Wednesday, November Nov. 5th, 5pm-6pm
Food and Drink, 6pm -7pm
Room 1-390
-- Please send short RSVP note to awankerl at mit.edu --

*Speaker:
Julie Gerstenberger
Director External Alliances and VP
Eastman Kodak Company

*Abstract:
In today's open innovation environment, few innovations can be
accomplished in one organization alone. Universities, start-up
companies and corporate R&D all interact at different stages and,
at least in theory, can complement each other and enhance overall
innovation efficiency.

During the seminar, Julie will set up our discussion topic of open
innovation in and between organizations based on some of her own
findings and insights. She will then engage with you in the
exploration of the great opportunities and barriers that exist,
why they exist and what it takes to overcome the barriers and make
good on the opportunities, with plenty of hands-on examples based
on her experiences.

*Stellar Advisory Board*

The Stellar Advisory Board is looking for a graduate student
representative to contribute in its management and innovation.

If you are interested in this position,
please email gsc-secretary at mit.edu
