Signing Beach, Manchester-by-the-Sea
Meet at North Station Commutter Rail Station at 9:45am. Subsidy for travel
and ice cream provided for first 50 people to RSVP.

*Six Flags Trip!*

Looking for thrills this summer? Join GSC and your friends at Six Flags
and Hurricane Harbor on Sat. Aug 4 for a fun-filled day of roller coasters,
water rides, entertainment, shows, and food.

Sat, August 4

Ticket info:
With Transportation: $20 for students, $25 for guests
Without Transportation: $15 for students, $20 for guests
Tickets went on sale beginning Monday July 23 from 2-5pm (except Fridays)
at the GSC office (Walker Memorial, 50-220) and continue for the next two
weeks from 2-5pm. Each MIT graduate student and post-doc will be allowed
one guest. Please  bring your MIT ID when you purchase tickets.

Transportation Info:
Buses will leave Sidney Pacific at 10am and arrive at Six Flags at noon
Buses will leave Six Flags at 8pm and return to Sidney Pacific at 10pm

*Apply to Serve on an Institute/Faculty Committee!*

During this time of the school year, there are several open Institute and
Faculty committee positions requiring graduate student representation.  This
is a great opportunity to serve on some very influential faculty-appointed
and presidential-appointed committees.

application for committee nomination and bring it to 50-220 by July 31st.
