*GSC May General Council Meeting*
The GSC May General Council meeting will take place this Wednesday,
May 2, 5-7pm in 50-220 (Walker Memorial). Food will be served at 5pm
and the meeting starts at 5:30pm.
At this meeting, the newly elected 2007-08 GSC Officers and Committee
Chairs will officially start their term.

*Workshop on Affordable Technology*
Q: Why are people in Southeast Asia smiling?
A: Because affordable solar is lighting the way to a better future.
Workshop details and registration are available at

What is it? This daylong workshop focuses on technologies that improve
the lives of people living in poverty; it is an introduction to the
process and practice of technology entrepreneurship.
Invention to Venture: Affordable Technology is part of EurekaFest, a
multi-day celebration designed to empower a legacy of inventors through
activities that inspire youth, honor role models, and encourage
