*Meet visiting artist Kota Ezawa*

Monday, April 9, 6pm, Wiesner Conference Room (E15-209)

The MIT List Visual Arts Center is hosting a special reception open to
graduate students to meet visiting artist Kota Ezawa.

Mixing images from film and television, fiction and news, as well as the
present and the past, Kota Ezawa re-energizes images dulled through
repetition in a culture in which moving images are ubiquitous. His works
are in the form of insistently flat animated renderings of scenes both
infamous and familiar that remake the everyday as strange. You are
invited to meet artist Kota Ezawa in a special program featuring a talk
and reception. This program is offered in conjunction with the List
Center?s current Media Test Wall exhibition Kota Ezawa: Three Works.
