*"So Much So Fast" Movie Screening*

As many of you know, an award-winning documentary has been made about a
longtime MIT family -- the Heywoods. Prof. John Heywood has been at MIT
for over 40 years and two of his sons are MIT graduates. Made over a
period of 5 years, "So Much So Fast" chronicles the family as it comes
to grips with Stephen Heywood's paralyzing neural disorder ALS (Lou
Gehrig's disease) and the birth of the ALS Therapy Development
Foundation from within the family.

Produced by Academy Award nominated directors, the film has been
described as a black-humored cliffhanger of romance, guerrilla science,
and the redefinition of time... "It's about the biggest questions of
life. The answers are never what you expect."

LSC has been generous enough to host a special screening of "So Much So
Fast" for the MIT community. The event will take place on Thursday
March 8th at 7 P.M. in the Wong Auditorium (E51-115). Following the
film will be a question and answer session with the Heywood family and
the directors of the film.

Admission to the event is free; donations to the ALS Therapy Development
Foundation will be accepted.
