*GSC July General Council Meeting*

The GSC July General Council Meeting will take place on Wednesday,
July 5, 5-7pm in 50-220 (walker Memorial).

Come and vote on the GSC budget for the 2006-2007 year.
Come help out with Orientation.
Give your opinions on the graduate formal.

*World Cup FINALS*

The World Cup (or the Euro Cup now) is drawing to a close!

Upcoming games:

7/04 GERMANY  vs. ITALY  (3pm) 	Semi-finals
7/05 PORTUGAL vs. FRANCE (3pm)  Semi-finals

7/08 ???:??? 		 (3pm)	Third place
7/09 ???:??? 		 (2pm)	FINAL - Party at Ashdown

All games are shown at Ashdown (Hulsizer Room or west dining room) and
at Sidney-Pacific (3rd floor or 5th floor lounge). Some afternoon games
are also screening at the Muddy Charles Pub.

Come to the final match final party on July 9, 1pm-5pm in the Ashdown
Hulsizer room. Free regional food! Foosball! Big screen action! And a
cash bar by the Thirsty Ear Pub! Presented by Ashdown, Sidney-Pacific
and Edgerton.

*Grad Rat Sales Days*

Are you still thinking about purchasing the GradRat, MIT's official
custom-designed and popular graduate ring? Then now is the time to buy
your GradRat before the July 15th price increase!

The Graduate Student Council has worked closely with ring manufacturer
Balfour to keep GradRat prices reasonable.  However, the GSC's contract
with Balfour allows for price adjustment every year depending on the
gold price.  Since the price of gold has gone up substantially, GradRat
prices could increase by as much as 20% after July 15th.

To help you order your GradRat before the price increase, 2 additional
Ring Sales Days have been arranged:

Tuesday - Wednesday
July 11th, 12th
11 am - 2 pm
Tang Center (E51) - Wolk Lobby (near the main door)

If you have already purchased a GradRat and have size or repair issues,
you may also take your ring to the Balfour representative on these
dates.
