*ARC seminar "Nuts and Bolts of the Academic Job Search"*

Have you ever wondered about what to do after MIT? Have you ever 
considered an academic career? Come to the series of lectures that 
explore this topic.

The second seminar in the series "Nuts and Bolts of the Academic Job 
Search" will take place on Wednesday, June 28, 4:00-5:15pm in 34-101.
Speakers include   
   Prof. Jacqueline Lees (Biology and Center for Cancer Research, MIT)
   Prof. Debbie Chachra (Materials Science, Olin College)
   Dr. Alisa Morss (HST, MIT --> Drexel University)
   Dr. Dave MacAlpine (Biology, MIT --> Duke University)
Refreshments will be provided.

The other seminars in the series will take place over the summer:
   "How to Survive the First Year as an Assistant Professor" - July 19
   "Transition between Industry and Academia" - August 16

*World Cup Screening*

The World Cup is only starting to get exciting! Bring out the flags and 
come watch the games approaching to the finals:

All games are shown at Ashdown (Hulsizer Room or west dining room) and 
at Sidney-Pacific (3rd floor or 5th floor lounge). Some afternoon games 
are also screening at the Muddy Charles Pub.

Come to the final match final party on July 9, 1pm-5pm in the Ashdown 
Hulsizer room. Free regional food! Foosball! Big screen action! And a 
cash bar by the Thirsty Ear Pub! Presented by Ashdown, Sidney-Pacific, 
and Edgerton.

*Tour of the campus art collection*

Join us for a free tour of the campus art collection! Bring your bikes, 
boards and old school rollerskates to the List Visual Arts Center 
Tuesday, July 11, 5:30 PM (Rain date: July 12). Meet outside the List 
Visual Arts Center (building E.15).
 
Learn more about the thirty-some works of art on view everyday all over 
MIT Campus, ranging from modernist sculpture to contemporary 
installation, and painting.

Refreshments provided and hopefully some light exercise.

Students.
