*GSC June General Council Meeting*

The GSC June General Council Meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 
7, 5:00-7:00 pm in the GSC office (50-220). The GSC budget for 2006-2007 
will be presented at this meeting. Dinner will be served.

Become a GSC representative! As a voting member of the GSC General 
Council, you will bring the concerns of your group to the attention of 
the GSC and its committees. You also report back to them on the 
activities of the GSC and other Institute-wide issues that affect them.

*Graduating Student Survey*

The information that we collect is useful to students and to academic 
departments.  By informing us of their plans, we can provide graduating 
students and their departments with answers regarding MIT graduate's 
salaries, where they work and pursue graduate study, the employment 
picture in various fields and other topics related to their careers. By 
participating, which takes less than 4 minutes, graduates will 
automatically be entered to win 1 of 3 $100 gift cards.

This process is confidential. Students will only be asked for their 
e-mail to confirm that they are a graduating MIT student. E-mails are 
not connected to their responses and will be discarded after the prize 
drawing.

*GSC Orientation Committee Meeting*

Do you want to get involved in organizing the 2006 Graduate Orientation?

The first meeting for planning Fall Orientation 2006 will be held this 
Friday, June 9th at 5:30 pm in the GSC office (50-220).  Dinner will be 
provided. Please RSVP (gsc-oc at mit.edu) so that we order enough food for
