[galib] gaLib and Excel/MS dll

Hi all,

I commonly have optimization problems on Excel that I'd like to get a
"second opinion" on since I don't fully trust Excel's optimizer. A GA
seemed like a great way to confirm solutions, or even just to narrow down
Excel's search space.

My idea was to find a GA implementation, compile it as a MS Windows dll, and
then write a VBA interface between the optimization problem on the Excel
spreadsheet and the dll GA implementation.

Can this kind of thing be done with GALib?

Thanks!
Pete
