Dear Tim

I think you can set the population of a GA from a file. To do this you need to take a GAPopulation object. First read from file and copy the respective things in GAPopulation object. Once you have finished this set the population of the GA to your population object

YOu can have:

GAPopulation pop
copy from file to pop
ga.population(pop)

I am not in touch currently with GAlib but I hope this simple thing works.
