Hmm. While we're at it, I wouldn't suggest at all reading Stroustrup's
book if you're a C++ newbie. It is an excellent reference book for
programmers but not a book to learn how to program. You would probably
be better off with books such as:
HM Deitel and PJ Deitel, C++ How to Program, Prentice Hall.
or
MA Weiss, Algorithms, Data Structures, and Problem Solving With C++.
Addison-Wesley.
Of course, this has nothing to do with your original mail -
but as there is no magic in programming, I think you shouldn't
start by the wrong end :-)
