Statistics and Terminating Function

My problem is that whenever I do a call to:

ga.statistics().current() 

it returns:  nan.

So I don't think that it is doing to evaluations correctly.

and the majority of the statistics returned by ga.statistics() are nan also.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

If more info is needed I will gladly give it.
