Help on PVM

Hi,
  I have already installed pvm in my directory and the pvm example "hello 
world" is running fine. I am using Linux on Pentium II. However , when i 
want to compile and execute programs written by me ,i execute aimk, the 
following is appearing:

making in LINUX/ for LINUX
make: *** No rule to make target `$@.o',   Stop.

	Please help me to fix this problem.
