How to compile GA examples in SUN-UNIX?

Thanks for reply.
I have compiled examples successfully. The only thing I did is to change
the gnu compile to non-gnu compile. It's strange though I install gnu in my
machine.
I still have other problem to make install, it always tell me the directory
problem, I change the directory in my makevar file, but it doesn't work. So
I had to manually install them.
Have somebody ever use 'make intall ' and successful?
