Deterministic crowding and Population sizing

Dear All,

I'm working on different GA algorithms and try do derive some
probabilistic equations to predict convergence. I have problems to
derive such equations for deterministic crowding. In particular, I try
to link accurately population size with the number of desired niches,
the noise level,... Any help or paper will be welcome.
