Help in compiling GA

Which compiler are you using?  
What types of problems are you having with your compiles?
Can you give us some specific error messages to see?

I have installed and built GAs of varying complexity using GAlib under
VC++5.0, BCC 4.0, and g++, and I've had problems each time, though always
pretty easy to overcome in the end.
