How can I use other methods instead of console under Visual C++?

 I compiled and linked example file under Visual C++ 4.2.
But because galib use usually stream io, the result file wasn't written
to disk.
Of course, the use of console application is a solution, but I must use
MFC
applications. Is there any other solution?
