This is the first workshop in the US to focus exclusively on the drivers and
challenges of offshore wind energy technology.  Students and professionals
alike are encouraged to join this exciting workshop to learn firsthand from
the experts about all different facets related to offshore wind energy
technology including:

* Offshore Wind Resources and Forecasting

* Offshore Design Environment and Technical Standards

* Novel Foundation Concepts for Next Generation Offshore Wind Turbines

* Overall Turbine System Design for Offshore

* Drivetrains, Blade Designs, Advanced Control System Concepts, Operations,
and many more!

 

Highlights:

* Join us to hear talks from speakers representing: Vestas, Bluewater Wind,
AWS Truewind, TPI Composites, American Superconductors, UMass, and MIT

* Mingle informally with the experts during breaks, lunches and the
pre-workshop Thursday evening reception
