[E&E seminars] Solar 7 Open House TODAY! (MIT's Solar Decathlonteam)

Solar 7, MIT's entrant in the Solar Decathlon (national zero energy home
competition), will be holding an open house this afternoon featuring a
ceremonial powering up ceremony and public tours thereafter.  This project
is a great example of MIT's "Mind and Hand" philosophy by taking all the
interest and excitement around energy efficiency and renewable energy and
putting it into action -- or more specifically, a house!  There are still
lots of different ways to get involved with this great project -- among
other things, they are looking for help reconstructing the house on the DC
mall on October.  So come, take a look, and get involved!

 

When and Where

Date:  Friday, September 14th (TODAY!)

Time:  Powering Up Ceremony at 2p; public tours 3p to 5p

Location: Corner of Albany and Portland Streets, Cambridge

(Public tours Sat., 9/15 and Sun., 9/16 from 3p to 5p as well)
