MIT events calendar
Thanks to those of you who provided feedback on the features and functionality you’d like in a new events calendar. Stay tuned for a survey within the next few weeks, but in the meantime feel free to send any thoughts to Emer Garland (emer at mit.edu<mailto:emer at mit.edu>).

Resources
With the start of the new year, now is a good time to check whether your website, social media, and print materials conform to MIT’s graphic identity standards<http://web.mit.edu/graphicidentity/index.html>, which outline how the MIT logo and your department’s own branding work together. Communication Production Services (cps at mit.edu<mailto:cps at mit.edu>) is always available to review designs and answer questions.

Lynda.com<lynda.mit.edu> has a helpful primer on using Drupal; search for Drupal 7 Essential Training. If you’ll be maintaining a site that has already been developed, the sections on content will be most useful to you.

Thank you
Thanks to Kiirja Paananen for hosting the meeting and choosing a room with an incredible view of Kendall Square and the river.

Spring meetings
In our recent survey, many of you commented that you’d be more likely to attend meetings if they were centrally located on campus. Done!

All meetings are from 12-1 pm; feel free to bring a lunch.
