Hi, there are two communications positions opened at the Press, and both are really great opportunities. The managerial team and colleagues will make for a fun, collaborative work environment. There is a culture to promote from within, recognizing the talents and skills of current MIT Press staff.

For a young person interested in breaking into publishing, an Editorial Assistant position is now open in economics and finance. This is a support staff level 4 position – pay scale will be for someone starting out - it’s job no. 12787. One of the Acquisitions Editors started in this position just a few years ago.

Do you work with LaTeX? Interested in publishing? There is a new staff position available working with LaTeX and a variety of manuscripts. Support staff colleagues often use LaTeX with their faculty’s papers and course notes, so please share this opportunity with your colleagues. The Technical Specialist - LaTeX and Scripting is number 12780 on the job board.
