Many of you knew last autumn that I had started job hunting. Thanks to my 36 years at MIT, I ended up taking early retirement in February and promptly started a new position as alumni contact person with the MechEng Lab for Manufacturing and Productivity. Since I have presented an annual cover letter to CEE MEng grad students for many years, I’m glad that I can still write an effective letter for myself when needed.
