[Editors] voice activation software

Thank you all for your recommendations.  Dragon seems to be the consensus, with caveats from Mary Ziegler, which you all were copied on.  I’ll pass it along to my friend. And thanks also for your expressions of sympathy – he is very dispirited and I’m hoping this might help pull him out of the hole he’s in.  It isn’t pretty.

I use what came with my iPhone and iPad and it works pretty well so long as you don’t have a Scottish accent.  But for a desktop or laptop, I don’t know what software to recommend.
