The Gordon Engineering Leadership Program Recruitment and Marketing Specialist position has the following major components:
· Recruit new Fellows into the program, including engagement with corporations, government agencies, to identify candidates and bring into the program. Clearly articulating the value of the program to sponsoring organizations and students while building and sustaining relationships with corporate partners.
· Participate in development of marketing materials, strategy and execution for Gordon Engineering Leadership Program
· Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferable in a technical specialty. Management and operations experience with recruiting and marketing in a higher education evironment are required. This position also requires a self-motivated professional who is results oriented, able to work in a team environment, solve problems and successfully interface with industry at many levels of corporate, engineering and HR Management. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
The Gordon Leadership Program at Northeastern University is an intensive, one-year graduate program directed at building a future elite corps of engineering leadership professionals who can identify new engineering opportunities, build the team of people needed to take advantage of an opportunity and drive the opportunity to completion. The engineers participating in this program, known as Gordon Fellows, are typically employees of their sponsoring organization and collaboratively develop a Challenge Project that will accomplish an objective that is of strategic importance to their sponsoring organization.
