[Editors] New MIT Communicators Toolkit website

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the launch of the new MIT Communicators Toolkit website, which for the first time aggregates MIT communications resources and information in one location: http://commtoolkit.mit.edu.

In addition to tips and tools about various types of communications, the site features the Idea Exchange, where you can post ideas or questions and receive advice from other MIT staff working in communications. You can also search for colleagues who have created a profile by their area of expertise, name or department. We hope some great dialogues will ensue as communicators share their expertise and make connections through common interests.

We invite you to help us build this new network by creating a profile on the site. This will allow you to post or reply to comments or to search for colleagues. After clicking on Login, you’ll be directed to the My Profile page. The fields you fill in will display in the search results, which can only be seen by those with an MIT certificate.

To help us grow the site and keep it current, we are looking to you for suggestions. If you know of links to communications resources within or outside MIT, please let us know: http://commtoolkit.mit.edu/suggestion.

We hope you find the site to be a great resource and a way to connect with other MIT communicators. Please share this email with your colleagues working in communications at MIT. We look forward to your feedback.
