The MIT Publishing Services Bureau invites you to join us at a webinar
on Making the Case for Your Marketing Budget, presented by Academic
Impressions. The webinar will cover how to develop and present an
effective argument for the value of your institution's marketing and
branding initiatives. Special emphasis will be placed on being
deliberate in using existing, cross-campus marketing resources more
effectively.

Overview:
Marketing departments face two distinct challenges when securing
sufficient funding to advance the institution's goals. First,
incremental budgeting may lead to funding that is not aligned with
strategic goals and second, without that alignment, it then becomes
difficult to make the case to senior leadership for additional funding.
Presenter:
Elizabeth Scarborough, President and Partner, SimpsonScarborough
Elizabeth is a nationally recognized expert in the use of research to
drive marketing, branding, recruitment, and retention efforts. With 17
years of experience conducting market research, she is an innovative
leader in developing marketing intelligence. Elizabeth specializes in
the applications of qualitative and quantitative research to develop
brand strategies. Her groundbreaking approaches to marketing and
research have become industry standards. She currently serves as chair
of the American Marketing Association's Symposium for the Marketing of
Higher Education.
