Elizabeth and Editors:
I notice the AMPS portfolio includes a piece they did for us at the
PSFC about two years ago: Fusion Research at MIT. I was concerned
going into this project about the complexity of putting together a
short film about this project, but Chris Boebel of AMPS made is so
easy. After discussion with our Director he put together a series of
questions to ask four different people; then he just wove together
the stories and explanations. This took only about one day of
filming. And we changed almost nothing from his first cut. It did
end up being 8 minutes, about twice what we had planned, but he had
hours and hours of video. And we use this video all the time now to
introduce people to this project. It was a really nice experience.
