Review of new mail requirements seminar today
Artco Inc., one of MIT's preferred print vendors, will join us today
to review the new US Post Office requirements for the placement and
size of addresses on flat-size pieces, including newsletters,
magazines and large envelopes. If your publications are not formatted
properly, you will not be eligible for an automation discount and may
be charged at first-class postage rates. Artco will also offer tips on
how to minimize your postage costs and delivery time. You will learn
about other mailing considerations, including national change of
address (NCOA) requirements and how to keep your mailing lists clean.
Feel free to bring samples of your publications for compliance review.

Marty O' Brien and Debbie Puleo from MIT Mail Services will be on hand
to outline the mailing services available at MIT.

messages in front of students and alumni quickly and inexpensively.

Marketing With Online Video (webinar)
Friday, April 24
1-3 p.m.
Building 32-144
No registration required

Overview: The highly competitive work of recruiting students in
today's high-tech world of quick sound bites and short attention spans
can be challenging to colleges and universities. Online video
marketing is a powerful tool that can differentiate a school and
communicate its programs within the shortest possible time. While many
schools struggle with the decision of whether to invest the time,
money, and staff needed to integrate online video into their media
efforts, nothing else comes close to the effectiveness and persuasive
power of a well-designed video.
