Dear Editors,
         I am looking for environmental or sustainability related news,
events, etc. to include in the news section of the Monthly Bale, the
newsletter of the Working Group Recycling Committee. Deadline for
contributions is Monday, May 23: I know it is last minute but the summer
seems to be slim on the news and events front.
         The theme of the June/July Monthly Bale, due out June 1, is Reuse
(Computers, "disposable products", MIT resources for reusing, commingles:
cans, bottles, glass, plastics, etc.) Steve Lanou of the EPO is writing an
article on the Stata Center swale. The next issue after this one will be
September 1, so any news or events during August would be OK too.

Do you have any news items to share? Such as:
    * Environmental news
    * events
    * meetings
    * initiatives
    * classes
Any additional items or comments on these?

Deadline for contributions is Monday, May 23.
Thanks!
Amy Donovan

The mission of the MIT Working Group Recycling Committee is to develop and
deliver programs that educate administrative and support staff about
recycling, reducing and reusing goods. Efforts include
identifying/addressing gaps in staff understanding about recycling as well
