Dear Editors,

I need help identifying a woman student--undergrad or grad--in
science or engineering who would like to do an audio diary for "51%",
a nationally syndicated public radio program about women. The
reporter has a grant from the National Science Foundation's gender
equity program to produce the audio diaries. She's working with one
engineer who's building a rover for JPL and another who's doing
something at The Alaska Sea Life Center.

The student would need to be a "Good Communicator- Engaging,
interesting and well spoken. Working on a project that would interest
the public. Has some pivotal event in that project between June and
February. (A producer will be collecting sound during that time
period and we'll need to have a hook for the story. The event could
be defending a dissertation, or the student could spend the semester
inventing a project that needs to work at the end."

Ideas?

Denise
