[Editors] InDesign question

Would one of you be able to help me?  I am working on a document in 
'InDesign' and the text on one of the pages of this document will 
only show up under the 'Optimized Display' view.  All the other pages 
are fine in the 'typical' view.
I am a novice at this and would appreciate your advice!
