Hi all,
The News Office is getting ready for Commencement, and one of the
things we do is gather stories of unusual and interesting graduates
and alumni returning for reunion. I'm writing to ask if any of you
know someone who would make a good subject for a short feature. If we
can find a number of interesting people, we won't need to write a
long story about each, but perhaps more of a vignette.
We're most interested in those who are unusual even for MIT. For
example, this could be someone who plays in a rock band, is a star
athlete (even a tiddly-winks champion), is from a remote part of the
world (see the third story below), etc. Here are some of the stories
we've done in recent years:

Alumni:

If you know of anyone, please let me know as soon as possible so we
can schedule a photograph if necessary. If you would care to
interview and write about the person, even better, but this isn't
required. Fee free to pass this on to others at MIT who might know of
interesting people to interview. Thanks!
