Dear Editors:

The News Office has two job openings, which were just posted on the
Human Resources web site. We are looking for a Computer Support
Assistant to replace Darren Clarke, our editorial assistant who is
leaving MIT at the end of June to move to New York City. The focus of
this position is Tech Talk newspaper production, which is weekly
during the school year and daily support of our database-driven MIT
News web site, which publishes information and news as it breaks. The
second position is new. We are looking for a Reporter-Staff Writer to
support our news reporting and media relations work. The
Reporter-Staff Writer position would be a great opportunity for an
entry level or career-change candidate interested in journalism,
university communications and/or public relations.

Please feel free to post this notice on your office bulletin board or
to forward this email to others. Prospective applicants should
contact MIT Human Resources for further details. Phone: 617-253-4251,
URL: http://web.mit.edu/hr/

Thanks for your help!
