Marilyn,

The MIT Museum, an excellent suggestion -- thanks for the plug,
Catherine. On line [http://web.mit.edu/musuem] and 2-3 blocks from
Bldg 7 , along with "Doc," holograms, and wacky machines, your
visitors can encounter robots, "Mind and Hand: The Making of MIT
Scientists and Engineers," 100 years of flight in MA, and
anti-Vietnam War posters at MIT from the early 70s.

-- On campus, I'd also suggest they pick up at the Info Office the
List Center's map of MIT's public art collection, which is also
available at
http://mit.edu/lvac/www/collections/map.html .

-- Plus "Smart City Cars in the 21st Century," an exhibition on the
MIT Concept Car with GM and Frank Gehry, at the Wolk Gallery, Bldg 7,
Rm 338.
