Hi Ou,
Thank you for your reply. I didn’t realise I have to use PHIHYDcR instead of PHIHYD. Sanity check now works, geostrophic flow using derivative of p_full_fixeddep now gives me very similar values to UVEL and VVEL. So thanks for your help!
