Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a PhD student in Geodesy at the University of Gävle, Sweden. As a part of my study, I need to use "Mean Dynamic Topography" data in combination with satellite gravimetry data. But the point is that the MDT model should not be correlated with satellite gravimetry data (I have some models in which MDT was calculated as the subtraction of Geoid height (by satellite gravimetry) and MSL(by satellite altimetry) so that they are not applicable for me). In other words, I need to utilize an MDT model that is achieved purely from oceanographic observations.
I have heard that ECCO-2 model meet this assumption for me.
I just wanted to make sure whether or not I can use this model. What about ECCO-4?
If one of these models/both of them can be used, I really appreciate it if you can help me to download the model(s) (I am a bit confused in the ftp address: ftp://ecco.jpl.nasa.gov/ as I don't know which file I should download).
It's highly appreciated if you can help me.
Thank you so much in advance.
Best regards,
Hadi Amin
