We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for RSP/SUETr
Copyright for Repositories Staff Training Workshop, hosted by the
University of Northampton, UK, on the 28th October 2008.

The purpose of this event is to help repository managers and
administrators with the day-to-day IPR issues they face, and to equip
them with the skills they need to do so. There is NO FEE for this
event, so if you feel that you'd like to learn more about the matters
surrounding IPR and repositories and find out what you can do to deal
with them, then this event is NOT TO BE MISSED!

Highlights will include presentations from Susan Copeland (EThOS, Robert
Gordon University), Mahesh Madhavan (JISC Legal Information Specialist)
and Jane H. Smith (SHERPA/RoMEO), as well as hands-on IPR workshops from
Rachel Proudfoot (White Rose Repository, University of Leeds) and
Stephanie Taylor (UKOLN, University of Bath).
