[Dspace-general] private content?

 Hello,
We are considering using DSpace, but we have a few questions concerning some
of the features. Is there a way to upload a file and make it somehow
private? We don't want everyone to be able to view the file so we want it to
be hidden somehow... maybe if it doesnt show up in search results or
something like that, or perhaps password protect it...
Does DSpace provide such features?
