[Dspace-general] Upcoming DSpace 1.4.1 beta release

All,

A DSpace 1.4.1 beta release is planned for 9 November, and in 
preparation for this release the cut-off for patches to be accepted will 
be Friday November 3. DSpace 1.4.1 is a minor release and will be 
primarily a bug-fix release, so patches addressing bugs are those most 
likely to be incorporated in this release.

The list of proposed modifications (in no particular order) for 
inclusion in a DSpace 1.4.1 release has been posted at  
http://wiki.dspace.org/index.php/CurrentReleaseToDo

Those items on the page not listed under the "Patches" heading as yet do 
not have patches associated with them, so if you do have some spare 
time, creating a patch for one or more of these items would be a great 
help to the community and help progress a 1.4.1 release. If you do 
decide to contribute, you might want to put your name/initials against 
an item on the page so that others know it is already being addressed.

If you have time to review and provide feedback on any of the 
uncommitted patches on this page (i.e. those in bold type), create 
patches for unpatched bugs or improve the documentation prior to the 
cut-off date, it would be greatly appreciated.
