[Dspace-general] DSpace 1.3 relation.ispartofseries

Hello everyone.

Here at Georgia Tech, we have made much use of the element/attribute set 
relation.ispartofseries. The new version of DSpace handles this information 
differently than previous installations.

Currently, when a series and a series number are added, they are each 
treated as a separate element.  So, for example, instead of 
<relation.ispartofseries> GVU Papers;GVU-ID-09<\>

We now have:
<relation.ispartofseries>GVU Papers<\>
<relation.ispartofseries>GVU-ID-09<\>

Was this a sought for change, or something that needs to be fixed?
