[Dspace-general] data sets - metadata

Hello folks-

Would the work of the Data Documentation Initiative be germaine to this issue, I wonder? I have to admit I've not had any direct involvement with this project, but I know they've been working very hard on this issue (metadata for datasets) for several years. They have a good website at:

(their focus is social science data, not scientific)
