Hello Beatriz,

DSpace doesn't support the use of thesauri directly in the system at this 
time.  However, our metadata does allow you to specify a classification 
system for subject fields (although the present submission interface does 
not yet support this.)

In our next release you will be able to customize the metadata submission 
form to include the above fields and you will also be able to add drop-down 
boxes to all subject fields which you can use for controlled vocabulary, 
similar to the way the TYPE field now works.
