DSpace doesn't support the use of thesauri directly in the system at this
time. However, our metadata does allow you to specify a
classification system for subject fields (although the present submission
interface does not yet support this.)<br><br>
In our next release you will be able to customize the metadata submission
form to include the above fields and you will also be able to add
drop-down boxes to all subject fields which you can use for controlled
vocabulary, similar to the way the TYPE field now works.<br><br>
