Housing Intent Form and other Housing News
The Housing Intent Form is for all MIT undergraduate students who will maintain on-campus housing eligibility<https://studentlife.mit.edu/housing/undergraduate-housing/get-housing-ug/housing-eligibility-ug> this upcoming Fall semester. All students in this category, including those who plan to move off-campus, should fill out the form to declare your housing plans for the next academic year. To live in on-campus housing this fall, you must submit the form through your housing portal<http://tinyurl.com/mit-housing> by Wednesday, February 28 at noon. If you want to switch dorms, you can also request that through this form. If you do not fill out the form, you will lose on-campus housing eligibility and will need to reapply through the waitlist process, which is not expected to have many openings for the fall. If you are still unsure about your fall housing plans, please note that it is possible to cancel fall housing without a fee until May 15th.
The Summer Housing Application is also available on your housing portal until March 20th, and all currently enrolled undergraduates who will still be enrolled in the fall semester are eligible. Summer housing placements are assigned through a lottery process and are not guaranteed. More information on summer housing, including summer dorm options and pricing information, can be found here<https://studentlife.mit.edu/summer-housing>.
Current dorm residents who require a few extra days of housing beyond the move-out date of Thursday, May 23 can also fill out a Spring Extension Request on the housing portal. More information on that process can be found here<https://studentlife.mit.edu/extensions>.

CPW Host Sign-up
The Admissions office needs students to host adMITted students for Campus Preview Weekend (CPW), which is happening April 11-14. If you have some space in your room, please consider signing up to host one of the ~1000 prefrosh who will visit by filling out the registration form here<https://apply.mitadmissions.org/register/cpwhosts> before March 24. In addition to hosting adMITted students, dorms will be running many events, so be sure to check with your dorm to see how you can get involved!

Communication Reminders
As a dorm resident, you may be a member of a dorm social mailing list that receives dormspam! Because dormspam reaches most MIT undergraduates and anyone else subscribed, including house teams, faculty, and staff, it is important to be respectful of others’ perspectives and their inboxes. While dormspam is generally unrestricted and managed by your dorm’s mailing list structure, you can find helpful instructions on how to send dormspam, filter your email, or join or unsubscribe at how-to-dormspam.mit.edu<https://how-to-dormspam.mit.edu/>.
On dormspam and elsewhere, please remember to be kind and respectful with your communications. If you feel unsafe or need support, you can reach out to your house team<https://mitguidetoresidences.mit.edu/teams>, connect with MIT Medical for mental health support<https://medical.mit.edu/services/mental-health-counseling>, contact a chaplain for religious, spiritual, or ethical support<https://studentlife.mit.edu/orsel/who-we-are>, and find more resources for self-care at doingwell.mit.edu<https://doingwell.mit.edu/>. You can also report incidents to the Institute Discrimination & Harassment Response Office<https://idhr.mit.edu>, hotline.mit.edu<http://hotline.mit.edu>, or the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards<https://studentlife.mit.edu/osc>.
